Dr. Nicole Reilly
After graduation, she moved to Albuquerque, NM and practiced at a small animal hospital for four years. Dr. Reilly never stopped yearning for home, however, so in 2009 she came back to this great state. After 18 months of small animal practice in Denver, she found the path that led her to Aurora Hills Animal Hospital in the fall of 2011. Dr. Reilly is passionate about bonding with her patients and their humans. She is a strong advocate for pain management whether that pain is from arthritis, a cut or bruise, or due to invasive surgery. Having shared 13 years with an allergic dog, she has grown to love dermatology and those 'itchy' dogs. Her greatest strength is dentistry and she loves seeing her patients lead fuller lives after having their oral health addressed. She believes that every animal deserves the best care that she has to offer. Dr. Reilly is blessed to be married to Travis for 18 years. They have two beautiful daughters, Mikayla and Quinn. The fur 'kids' Pepper, our COVID dachshund healer mix, Jupiter, a lovable grey cat, Kit Katt, a feisty medium hair tortoiseshell cat, Cherry, our ninja food steeling short hair black cat & Phoebe another tortoiseshell cat that has teamed up with Cherry and we now have two ninjas. If she does find herself with any spare time, she will curl up with a good book, whip up some delectable baked goods, or get outdoors. Someday, when she has more of that elusive spare time, she will resume SCUBA diving and travel.
Dr. Kelsey Davies Dr. Davies grew up in southeastern Michigan, then moved to Seattle, WA to attend the University of Washington where she obtained her BS Degree in biology. She returned to the Midwest to do graduate work in public health before obtaining her DVM degree from The Ohio State University. After graduation, Dr. Davies completed a one-year rotating internship at a specialty hospital in Tucson, AZ, and then continued to work there as an emergency doctor prior to first moving to Denver in 2016. After moving to Denver, Dr. Davies worked at a busy small animal and emergency clinic for two years. In addition to a background in small animal and emergency medicine, Dr. Davies also has experience and interest in wildlife medicine. She took a brief hiatus from private practice to return to Tucson and work at a local wildlife hospital prior to joining Aurora Hills Animal Hospital. Dr. Davies has two calico kitties, Nym and Minerva, who are very sweet but nervous girls outside of home. Having her own experiences with anxious pets, Dr. Davies strives to make "going to the vet" a more positive experience for every pet. Outside of work, Dr. Davies enjoys spending time hiking in the mountains, reading, cooking, and of course snuggling with her cats.
